Dirty Kanza is an ultra-endurance bicycling challenge held on the gravel and dirt roads through the Flint Hills region of east-central Kansas. This area, once home to the great Kanza Nation, has been called “the eastern-most edge of the great far west”. It is rugged, remote, and the perfect place for an epic cycling challenge. Dirty Kanza is held each year in Emporia, KS on the first Saturday following Memorial Day. The event begins and ends in front of the historic Granada Theatre, in downtown Emporia. Six event options are offered… High School, 25-miles, 50-miles, 100-miles, 200-miles, 350 miles. So, DK has something to offer all cyclists, regardless of their level of skill, fitness, or sense of adventure.
